ER Tank Attach Matchdrilling

With only an hour available to me today, I decided to tackle getting some initial holes drilled for the ER tank attachment to the main spar.

After securing the ER tanks in position, I fished out the #21 drill and used the holes in the tank skin to matchdrill into the spar.

(Actually a #19 drill is appropriate for a hole to be dimpled with a #8 screw dimple die), but #21, which is smaller, will give me a good starting hole I can open to #19 after everything is aligned perfectly.)

I promise better pictures once I’m getting the nutplates attached for these holes. It was hot in the garage today and I don’t like sweating all over the phone.

1.0 of drilling.

I'm too lazy to fill this out. If you are actually reading this, send me a message, and I'll spend some effort on it.
