Well, I did a TERRIBLE job at taking pictures, but progress is still progress.
First of all, it’s been BLAZING hot here, so instead of wimping out and staying in the air conditioning, I went ahead and installed a garage fan.
Instead of a picture, I took a video, then screenshotted the video to give you a sense of motion (you’re welcome).

Then, I can’t remember if I told you, but because my #40 dimple die broke, I was stuck without a completed rear spar, but with a top skin to rivet on. This worked fine, but I needed to reposition the left wing in a way that let me rivet on the rear spar, both to the ribs and also to the skin.
Here’s the wing, rotated 90deg so I could rivet the ribs.

Once riveted to the ribs, I rotated the wing back upright and worked on riveting the bottom row of top skin rivets to the rear spar.

I took no pictures, but worked my way along the bottom row of top skin rivets.

All in all: 2.0 hours, 177 rivets, and one new garage fan. Good day!
