Four Left ER Tank Ribs Riveted

Today was a long day in the shop (it seemed) to seal and rivet four ribs on the left ER tank.

Because I’m working with the tank sealant, I didn’t take many pictures. Here’s an upside down picture of the interior of the three bays I worked on.

Upside down.

Another interior shot.

A random interior shot.

Here’s a shot of the top side of the tank. the inboard three ribs I completed.

No dings, so that’s good.

Finally, I sealed and riveted the outboard rib.

Outboard-most rib.

After the night, I was heading inside and realized that my shirt had some proseal on it. So I don’t get confused about which shirt to wear outside, I decided to mark it in an inconspicuous way.

Inconspicuous like my watch band.

Finally, a shot of my outboard-most bay, mostly to prove that I did a decent job with the fillet. Actually, this was pre-fillet.

I’ll come back later to do the fillet.

145 Rivets set. I’m counting a 0.5 rivet replaced because I chipped the edge off of a rivet, but was able to just pull it out with my fingers. Not quite drilling, but not a freebie either.

2.5 hours on the ER Tanks.
